This extensive beginner's set from Thiers-Issard has everything needed to seriously begin the art of wet shaving. A perfect gift for the man in your life (especially if that's you!)

Included is a 6/8" shoulderless grind razor in white plastic scales (handles), ideal for heavier facial growth. The double-sided paddle strop is sprung to help maintain even pressure during stropping, with a stropping area 35mm wide and about 215mm long. Also included is a TI soap (lavender), a stainless steel bowl to keep it in and a pure badger bristle brush to apply it. The alum block is great to relieve any after-shaving skin irritation and the strop paste can be applied to the second side of the strop to help keep your razor shave ready.

We will hone and strop this razor before we send it to you at no extra charge, so that it arrives truly shave ready. The general consensus among those who shave with cut-throat razors is they are not truly shave-ready straight from the factory (even though the manufacturers often claim that they are), so having your razor honed before use is important.
